Open Concept Kitchen

Central living is the name of the game in this open concept kitchen reno.

 

The original space’s traditional layout was cramped and dysfunctional, with segmented spaces and a sunk-in family room.

 

To bring everyone together, we raised the family room and tore down the walls, uniting the kitchen, family and dining rooms. We also removed the old brick fireplace and installed newer, brighter windows to brighten the space.

 

A glass door rescued from our client’s family farm was installed in the laundry room, preserving their family heritage without sacrificing style.
