Vaulted Whole House Remodel

A dilapidated ranch takes on new life in this full home and garage remodel.

 

The original house was a low-slung ranch that looked more like a classroom than a family home.  The entry was ill-defined, and the combined laundry bathroom was rotting away.  Our clients also needed a garage, to replace an existing carport.

 

To give this home the attention it deserved, we gutted the entire roof structure and installed scissor trusses to vault the ceilings. We also added window dormers and a gabled front porch for curb appeal, and the newly constructed garage puts the old carport to shame.

The homeowners were thrilled with their new vaulted ceilings. Outside, new dormers liven up the exterior, and the four-car garage is the star of the show.
